Are you designing a page or spread? Important info for you to know:
GENERAL PAGE SETTINGS:
- Make sure you work with 300 pixels/inch and in CMYK color mode.
- If you have a spread the width will be double.
- The only font requirement is that body text must be “Adobe Garamond Pro” at “10pt.”
PAGE SETTINGS FOR INDESIGN:
- Page Size is 5.5x8.5" or "Letter - Half" or W:33p0 , H:51p0
- Bleed 0.25" or 1p6
PAGE SETTINGS FOR PHOTOSHOP:
- ONE PAGE: 6X9"
- TWO PAGE SPREAD: 11.5x9"
- The page size is 5.5x8.5" BUT add a 0.25 bleed to each side. Therefore make the width and height of the image: 6x9" If you are doing a spread, then you have to add 5.5" to the width!
